Ive always wanted to sing in a barbershop quartet. I had the privilege of being in one when I was a senior in highschool. I sung High Tenor...and I am a bass/baritone hehe. Needless to say it was all i dreamed it would be. The harmony, the old time feeling...loved every second of it. The show im stage managing this week is I Love A Piano. And it has so many barbershop quality songs in it...Im almost always singing backstage! It is definitely one of my favorite shows ive had the chance to see!!
Ive always been curious if I could get a group of guys together and just sing for fun. And I think I may have found a couple guys that want to do it!! I'm so ridiculously excited about it, you have no idea! Now i just wish we'd be singing barbershop...Not that singing hymns isnt fun either! I love singing hymns!
So the mission begins, get them all together and set up a time that we can all meet somewhere and have some fun!
